The prices of the Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 petrol manual and automatic trims have been reduced by Rs. 20,000 in India
Mahindra & Mahindra has dropped prices for its XUV 3XO as both manual and automatic AX5 petrol variants have been impacted. A reduction of Rs. 20,000 has come in the wake of the brand’s recent restructuring of the 3XO lineup following the introduction of three trims – REVX M, REVX M (O) and REVX A with some key updates to them.
The REVX A trim sits between AX5 and AX5L with its feature list designed to bridge the equipment gap without overlapping the slightly higher up AX5L variant. In effect, the downward revision of the AX5’s pricing may serve to redefine the boundaries between them while appealing to more customers. The AX5 continues to offer a loaded feature set for its positioning.
On the outside, it rides on 16-inch alloy wheels and includes roof rails and a rear spoiler. Inside, the cabin features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob along with an adjustable headrest for the second-row middle passenger.

The AX5 brings in dual-zone climate control, a push-button start/stop system, a height-adjustable driver seat, a rear centre armrest with integrated cupholders, electrically foldable ORVMs and a one-touch up power window for the driver. It is one of the VFM variants within the XUV 3XO range.
Other equipment highlights are a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay, built-in navigation, six speakers and Mahindra’s Adrenox connected car suite with Amazon Alexa integration. As for safety, rear-view camera, rear wiper and washer, automatic headlamps and wipers, tyre pressure monitoring system, and a rear defogger are provided.

By trimming the prices of AX5 variants, Mahindra may be looking to make space for the revised REVX trio while keeping the overall value equation of the 3XO range in balance. The compact SUV has been well received by buyers and is equipped with a 1.2L petrol, a 1.2L TGDI petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine with manual and automatic transmission options.
