The 2025 Renault Triber will get notable cosmetic updates and feature additions as part of the mid-life refresh; no powertrain changes likely
Renault India has released the teaser video of the updated Triber ahead of its market launch tomorrow. The compact MPV has been spotted testing quite a few times already and it will get visual revisions and possibly new features inside the cabin to up its VFM proposition. However, no major mechanical updates are on the horizon.
The teaser shows the rear of the 2025 Triber with an updated bumper having black and grey plastic elements and blacked out tail lamps with new LED signature. Up front, the three-row offering gains a new and more modern black grille section with angular slats while the Renault diamond emblem has been redesigned – similar to the models seen abroad.
Even with exterior revisions in place, Renault appears set to continue with the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol unit that has powered the Triber since launch. Both gearbox choices – a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT – are expected to carry over unchanged. The current Triber range starts at Rs. 6.10 lakh and tops out at Rs. 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom).

Given the nature of this mid-cycle update, pricing is unlikely to change significantly. Renault currently offers the Triber in four trims – RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ. The naturally aspirated three-cylinder motor may continue to deliver 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. The French manufacturer could introduce the turbo version of the same engine for the first time in Triber.
Renault could also introduce updates inside the cabin as part of the mid-cycle refresh. The brand may look to enhance its appeal by bringing in a larger touchscreen infotainment system, upgraded cabin materials and additional features. Structural improvements and the possibility of more airbags could also elevate its safety package.
