2026 Tata Punch EV gets a host of revisions inside and out and is available with 30 kWh and 40 kWh battery packs with a claimed driving range of up to 468 km
The updated 2026 Tata Punch EV arrived recently with notable revisions and we evaluated the top-spec 40 kWh version on an extended drive from Kochi toward the Tamil Nadu border near Pollachi to assess its full-battery endurance. While the larger battery carries an ARAI-certified figure of 468 km, its real-world C75 range stands at around 355 km.
So, how much did it return in the 100 to 0 per cent range test? Check out the detailed drive review linked below as you might be in for some surprise! The entry-level 30 kWh option, meanwhile, is rated at 265 km on a single charge. The bigger battery unit supports 65 kW DC fast charging – enabling a 20 to 80 per cent top-up in 26 minutes while a brief 15-minute session can restore 135 km of driving distance.
Adding to buyer confidence, the manufacturer offers a lifetime, unlimited-kilometre battery warranty for the first registered owner. Under the skin, the electric motor develops 130 PS and propels the compact SUV from 0 to 100 kmph in under nine seconds. Peak wheel torque crosses the 2,000 Nm mark.
