Mahindra to double down on its ICE SUV portfolio next year, strengthening emphasis on its main high-volume segments
Mahindra launched the BE 6, XEV 9e, the new Bolero series, the new Thar, and XEV 9S this year, and its new product offensive will continue next year. The company has lined up no less than three key launches for 2026.
In January, Mahindra is likely to roll out a facelift for the XUV700. Based on a recent trademark filing, reports say the company may launch the refreshed model as the XUV 7XO. The new model should feature bolder headlamps, a more elegant radiator grille, new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, and revised tail lamp graphics.
Inside, the Mahindra XUV7XO is likely to feature a redesigned dashboard with a triple-display setup, including a passenger touchscreen that allows the user to make video calls, play games, and stream videos and music. Mahindra is unlikely to offer any changes in the engine or transmission options.

Soon after the XUV7XO, Mahindra will likely launch the XUV 3XO EV, the pure electric variant of the XUV 3XO. The new electric model will be the company’s direct challenger to the Tata Nexon.ev. It will be smaller and more affordable than the XUV400, but likely shorter in range. Media reports suggest the company will offer it with a 35 kWh battery pack, but there’s no word on the powertrain.
Launched in 2022, the second-generation Scorpio, or the Scorpio-N as Mahindra calls it, will be due for a facelift in the second half of next year. Road-testing of the facelifted Scorpio-N is already underway, and test mules have been spied on many occasions, giving some idea about the possible changes.

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio-N is likely to have subtle changes that keep its much-loved character intact. The updated model is likely to feature new bumpers, tweaked headlamps and tail lamps, and new alloy wheels in 17- and 18-inch sizes. Needless to say, there would be a change in the colour palette, too.
Inside, the facelifted Mahindra Scorpio-N could have a new colour scheme and several new tech features. Mahindra may introduce a fully digital instrument cluster and also upgrade the infotainment system to improve its performance, enable wireless Android Auto, and fix any existing connectivity issues. A panoramic sunroof and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems are also expected. The new model is unlikely to have any mechanical changes.
