The Kia Clavis EV will be the first all-electric mass-market MPV in the Indian market and is set to go on sale on July 15
Despite SUVs taking over the market, car manufacturers continue to bid on the MPV segment, as it remains one of the top choices for family-oriented buyers. Offering practicality and a comfortable travel experience, MPVs are currently selling in good numbers, which makes them viable for brands. In this article, we will look at the 3 new MPVs launching soon in India.
1. Kia Carens Clavis EV

Kia has already taken the wraps off the Carens Clavis EV and the official launch is scheduled for July 15. While the technical details of the electric MPV are under wraps, the Korean carmaker has confirmed the claimed range of 490 kilometres on a single charge. The design is quite familiar to its ICE counterpart with some EV-specific touches, including aero-efficient wheels, redesigned bumpers, new LED fog lamps and more. It is expected to be available in two battery pack options and the electric motor will likely be shared with the Creta EV.
