This article lists the upcoming Mahindra ICE SUVs in the Indian market in the coming 12-18 months
Mahindra & Mahindra, the country’s second largest automaker, will launch multiple new SUVs in the coming 9-12 months in the Indian market. Besides introducing several all-new models in ICE and EV guises, it will also present the facelifted versions of its existing best-selling SUVs such as the Bolero, XUV7OO and Thar. We might see a few of them on Aug 15, 2025 at the brand’s annual event in Mumbai. Hence, in this piece, we will talk about the upcoming Mahindra SUVs in India in 2025-26.
1. Mahindra Bolero Neo facelift
The Bolero Neo facelift is likely to break cover on Aug 15, 2025. While the new SUV has already been spotted during its test runs, it has been learnt that the 2025 Bolero Neo facelift will take styling cues from the Thar Roxx.
In terms of features, it is expected to be equipped with a host of modern features such as sunroof, premium dashboard, 6-airbags and bigger touchscreen infotainment system among others. Mechanically, the 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo facelift will continue to carry the same 1.5L 3-cylinder diesel engine which belts out 100 bhp and 260 Nm.

2. Mahindra XUV7OO Facelift
The brand’s flagship SUV will be updated with fresh styling and new features to stay afloat in the competition. Internally codenamed as W616, the XUV7OO facelift will go on sale in the first half of 2026 in the Indian market. It will be designed on the similar lines as the company’s latest Born-Electric SUVs namely BE6 and XEV 9e. We could see the XUV7OO facelift come with a new front grille, redesigned alloy wheels, and connected LED headlamps. Under the bonnet, it will house the same 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbocharged diesel engines.
3. Mahindra Thar facelift
The Thar facelift will be launched in the first half of 2026 in India. Codenamed as W515, it will share multiple design elements with the 5-door Thar Roxx. The 2026 Thar facelift will get double-stacked front grille, restyled bumpers, C-shaped LED headlamps and newly-designed alloy wheels. The cabin will also be updated with striking features such as large touchscreen infotainment system, all-digital instrument cluster and sunroof. As far as mechanicals are concerned, it will be offered with the same petrol and diesel engines.

4. Mahindra Scorpio N facelift
Mahindra recently rolled out a new variant in the Scorpio N range with ADAS tech and 10 safety features. It is quite likely that the company will extend the ADAS suite to the other variants of the SUV as well, when it launches the facelifted model in the second half of 2026 in the Indian market. The mid-cycle facelift of the Scorpio N will borrow several striking features from the BE6 and XEV 9e. Though details are scarce at the moment, we believe the new SUV to remain mechanically unchanged.
5. New-Gen Mahindra Bolero
Mahindra will unveil the all-new Freedom NU architecture on Aug 15, 2025 which is said to be spawning the new-gen Bolero SUV. The new modular platform will be showcased alongside four concept models at the event in Mumbai. The new-gen Mahindra Bolero will come loaded with advanced features in the form of panoramic sunroof, ADAS suite and touchscreen infotainment system. The styling will be inspired from the Thar while cabin upholstery, seats and dashboard will be borrowed from the Scorpio N. The engine choices are likely to be retained from the ongoing model.
