Mahindra XEV 9S will be introduced on November 27 in India and it will be loaded with premium features and technologies
Mahindra has dropped yet another teaser of its upcoming all-electric flagship SUV, the XEV 9S, this time offering a deeper look at its premium interior. The new footage highlights the SUV’s upmarket credentials with the confirmation of a Harman Kardon 1,400 W 16-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos – the same high-end setup found in the XEV 9e and BE 6.
The teaser also gives a clearer view of the door pads, button layout and the premium soft-touch finishes used across the cabin. The SUV’s spacious three-row layout will take centre stage too with Mahindra showcasing its flexible seating movements – indicating that both the rows can slide and recline.
Set to make its global debut on November 27 at the ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru, the XEV 9S will be Mahindra’s first all-electric three-row SUV. It is built on the brand’s INGLO skateboard platform found in the XEV 9e and BE 6, a born-electric architecture designed for improved weight balance, better efficiency and enhanced interior packaging.

On the inside, the XEV 9S continues Mahindra’s digital-first direction, packing three large displays – a driver information screen, a central infotainment unit and a dedicated passenger screen. The flat-bottom steering wheel, minimalist gear selector and panoramic sunroof that stretches almost the entire length of the roof will also be available.
Among the comfort-based features are multi-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats with memory, adjustable headrests, and a central armrest. Under the skin, the INGLO platform is expected to share its battery and drivetrain technology with the BE 6 and XEV 9e.

The SUV will aim for a range of more than 500 km per charge, support ultra-fast DC charging and include bidirectional functionality. Drawing visual inspiration from the XUV.e8 concept and XUV700, the Mahindra XEV 9S will also get EV-specific detailing. Following its debut, Mahindra is gearing up for a busy 2026, which will see the arrival of the BE 6-based Rall-E and the facelifted XUV700.
