Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is expected to make its global premiere late next year before going on sale in India and international markets
Royal Enfield is preparing to expand its adventure portfolio with a new flagship motorcycle, the Himalayan 750, which will sit above the current Himalayan 450 in the brand’s lineup. While the company is also working on an electric version under the same name, the internal combustion model will arrive first with its official debut expected sometime next year. We expect it to make its global debut at EICMA 2026 in Italy.
Test prototype of the Himalayan 750 was displayed at EICMA 2025 although Royal Enfield refrained from disclosing any technical specifications at the time. The motorcycle continues testing under varying conditions and the manufacturer is expected to use the majority of the next calendar year for extensive road and terrain validation before lifting the covers off the final production form.
Spy images from test runs reveal that the motorcycle carries a stronger touring character compared to the 450. There is a tall windscreen, a more pronounced front fairing and what looks like a larger fuel tank. Underneath, a completely new frame layout has been spotted incorporating a linkage-type rear monoshock setup.

The rear section borrows visual cues from the Himalayan 450 with its integrated tail lamp and indicators but the new model ups the premium feel through a full-colour TFT display. This screen is expected to support smartphone connectivity, navigation and ride-related data. Royal Enfield is also likely to include multiple riding modes and electronic rider aids to match modern off-road expectations.
Powering the adventure tourer will be a newly developed 750 cc parallel-twin engine. It is believed to be a heavily reworked and more torque-focused evolution of the existing 650 cc twin platform. The engine is expected to deliver over 50 hp and 60+ Nm of torque – coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch as standard.

Test bikes have been seen with upside-down front forks and we can expect the suspension travel to be long at the front and rear. It will also get dual front disc brakes using ByBre callipers and a 19-inch front with a 17-inch rear tubeless wire-spoke wheel combination. An alloy wheel variant could also be on the cards.
