Indo-Chinese joint venture offering a wide line-up of eight cars and expected to close the year with more than 70,000 cars sold

JSW MG Motor is about to close 2025 with solid growth. The MG Windsor is quite possibly the main driving factor behind its rising sales. Between January and November 2025, JSW MG Motor recorded a 32% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. This statistic refers to the year-over-year growth in wholesales, though, not retail sales or the number of cars delivered to customers.

JSW MG Motor has not disclosed the wholesale figure for the January-November 2025 period. In November alone, though, the company says it dispatched 5,754 units. That, along with the data the company revealed in previous sales announcements, suggests it has shipped 65,008 cars between January and November this year.

JSW MG Motor was consistently selling over 6,000 cars for four months earlier, from July to October. In July, it had recorded its highest monthly sales this year – 6,678 units. The company hasnt announced its model-wise sales, but retail sales figures suggest it is mainly dependent on the MG Windsor for growth.

The MG Windsor is Indias first electric car to have crossed the 50,000 sales milestone in just over a year. JSW MG Motor had started delivering the electric crossover in October last year, and just last month, its deliveries surpassed 50,000 units.

The EVs economical pricing and unique positioning have quickly made it not only the best-selling MG in India and the best-selling electric car in the country. Besides the MG Windsor, JSW MG Motor also offers the MG Comet EV, MG Astor, MG Hector, MG ZS EV, MG Gloster, MG Cyberster, and MG M9.

The company imports the Cyberster and M9 via the CBU route and offers them exclusively at the MG Select premium sales outlets. It has sold more than 1,000 units of the pricey imports combined since their launch in July, with the electric roadster alone contributing more than 350 units.

Next year, JSW MG Motor will try to make its ICE portfolio more competitive. The company plans to roll out a second facelift for the Hector and launch the facelifted version of the Gloster as well, called ‘Majestor.’
