4 New Maruti Suzuki Cars Arriving Next Year In India

2026 Maruti Brezza

After a largely muted 2025, Maruti Suzuki to come back strong in 2026 with no less than four new products, including a three-row model

Maruti Suzuki didn’t have much action on the product front this year, having launched only the Victoris, but next year, the company will be back to its usual offensive. The Indo-Japanese joint venture is likely to bring four new cars to the market next year, including both budget and premium models.

The new year will begin the launch of the Maruti e Vitara, the company’s first pure electric car. Set to compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric, it will be available in two variants, one with a 142 bhp front motor and a 49 kWh LFP battery pack and one with a 172 bhp front motor and a 61 kWh LFP battery pack. The latter will deliver a range of 543 kilometres.

From a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat to a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, a 40:20:40-split rear seat, and an Infinity by Harman sound system, the e Vitara will offer plenty of premium features. Maruti Suzuki will include a bouquet of Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems and seven airbags, ensuring high safety. The only key missing feature in this model will be a panoramic sunroof.

Sometime in the late second quarter, Maruti Suzuki will likely launch the facelifted version of the Brezza. The updated model should feature revised bumpers, new 16-inch alloy wheels, and new colour options. Inside, we expect Maruti Suzuki to introduce new features like a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster and a wireless smartphone charger to make the Brezza more appealing for tech-savvy young customers. The company is unlikely to bring any changes to the engines or transmissions with the update.

In the second half of the year, Maruti Suzuki should launch a flex-fuel version of the Fronx, which it showcased at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. The Fronx Flex-Fuel should be compatible with petrol with up to an 85% ethanol blend. The government is already eyeing the nationwide rollout of E30 petrol by 2030, and Maruti Suzuki is preparing in advance.

At the end of 2026, Maruti Suzuki will likely introduce its second model based on the platform of the e Vitara. This will be a pure electric MPV, which internally goes by the codename ‘YMC’ and will compete with Kia’s Carens Clavis Electric. Maruti Suzuki may launch it with the same batteries and motors as the e Vitara, in which case, we expect the maximum range to be around 500 kilometres.
