Sales of Mahindra stood at 50,946 units during the month with a healthy 23 per cent growth over December 2024 when the company had dispatched 41,424 units

Mahindra & Mahindra finished the final month of 2025 with impressive volumes in the domestic market. Passenger vehicle sales stood at 50,946 units during the month with a healthy 23 per cent growth over December 2024 when the company had dispatched 41,424 units. On a month-on-month basis, volumes dipped slightly compared to November 2025’s 56,336 units.

SUVs such as the Scorpio range, Thar, XUV700, XUV3XO and Bolero range benefited from enduring demand – complemented by improved supply and favourable taxation. Passenger vehicle volumes for the April–December FY26 period reached 4,76,476 units – compared to 4,02,360 units during the same period last year with an 18 per cent growth year-on-year.

The consistency in SUV demand reiterates Mahindra’s strong positioning in segments where buyer preference continues to tilt toward high ground clearance, muscular styling and multiple powertrain options. On the commercial vehicle front, Mahindra posted mixed results across categories. Light commercial vehicles below 2 tonnes recorded sales of 2,720 units in December with a 13 per cent increase compared to the same month last year.

However, year-to-date volumes in this category declined by 4 per cent. The LCV segment between 2 tonnes and 3.5 tonnes emerged as apparent highlights. December sales jumped 37 per cent year-on-year to 22,066 units while cumulative volumes for FY26 so far rose 16 per cent to 1,85,012 units. Three-wheelers, including electric vehicles, also recorded a good showing.

Mahindra sold 7,538 units last month – up 31 per cent year-on-year. For the financial year to date, three-wheeler volumes climbed 28 per cent to 82,446 units. As for the PV range, the arrival of the XEV 9e and BE 6 along with updated three-door Thar, Bolero and Bolero Neo has helped in increasing the overall sales tally in 2025.
