Mahindra also offers All-Wheel Drive exclusively on diesel variants, priced at an additional Rs. 2.45 lakh. The AX7, AX7T and AX7L variants will be delivered first – starting January 14, 2026 – prioritising pre-booked customers. The AX, AX3 and AX5 variants will begin deliveries from April 2026.

The Mahindra XUV 7XO is India’s first ICE SUV to feature a coast-to-coast triple-screen dashboard across all variants – powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P chipset. The system runs Mahindra’s new ADRENOX+ software architecture making it the brand’s first internal combustion Software Defined Vehicle (SDV).
Another major highlight is the global debut of Mahindra’s DAVINCI suspension system which combines frequency-selective damping with a multi-link rear setup to improve ride quality. Mahindra has also integrated Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos into the cabin along with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system.

The cabin takes a noticeable upgrade with features including powered front seats with memory, a powered co-driver seat with Boss Mode, front and rear ventilated seats, soft-touch leatherette surfaces, multi-zone ambient lighting and acoustic glass for improved insulation. Features like BYOD theatre mode, dual wireless chargers with active cooling, a panoramic sunroof, retractable rear sunshades and a new Intelli Command Centre are also available.
The XUV 7XO continues with Mahindra’s proven engines: the 2.0-litre mStallion TGDi petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The petrol manual variant is claimed to sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in under 5 seconds while drive modes include Zip, Zap and Zoom along with a custom mode are other highlights.
The XUV 7XO comes with over 120 safety features including 75 standard features across all variants. It offers Level 2 ADAS with dynamic visualisation, a 540-degree surround camera with DVR, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, driver drowsiness detection and seven airbags including third-row curtain airbags. Mahindra claims the SUV has been engineered to meet 5-star Bharat NCAP standards.
