Customer deliveries of the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will begin on February 23, 2026; available in AX5 and AX7L variants
Mahindra has introduced an EV derivative of the XUV 3XO at a starting price of Rs. 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and has been made available in AX5 and AX7L variants with customer deliveries commencing from February 23, 2026. The range-topping trim costs Rs. 97,000 more than the base model and their variant-wise features are explained below.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is presented in six colour options namely Stealth Black, Galaxy Grey, Everest White, Tango Red, Nebula Blue and Deep Forest. The five-seater electric compact SUV uses a 39.4 kWh battery pack with a real-world driving range of up to 285 km. Power delivery comes from an electric motor producing 147.5 hp and 310 Nm, allowing it to achieve 0 to 100 kmph in 8.3 seconds.
Mahindra has tuned the drivetrain to offer three selectable driving modes – Fun, Fast and Fearless. Despite being electric, the XUV 3XO EV retains the familiar design language and proportions of its ICE sibling. Design highlights include LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs with integrated indicators, infinity-style LED tail lamps, roof rails and a rear spoiler.
The base AX5 variant ride on R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels while the higher trim upgrades to R17 alloys. A single-pane sunroof is provided in the former and a panoramic sunroof in the latter. Both variants feature dual 10.25-inch HD displays – one for infotainment and the other for the digital instrument cluster. The dashboard and door trims are finished in soft-touch leatherette – complemented by leatherette seat upholstery in AX7L.
Standard comfort features include dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, rear AC vents, front and rear USB ports, keyless entry, push-button start and a 60:40 split rear seat. The AX5 variant serves as a well-equipped entry point into the electric lineup. It includes essentials such as electronic parking brake with auto hold, cruise control, rear-view camera, ESP, six airbags, TPMS and Mahindra’s Adrenox connected car platform.
The system offers 80+ connected features including vehicle monitoring, remote functions, navigation, built-in Alexa, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Audio output is managed by a six-speaker sound system. Moving to the AX7L variant significantly raises the feature bar. It adds Level 2 ADAS comprising lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, smart pilot assist, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist and autonomous emergency braking for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
The safety suite is further strengthened by a 360-degree surround view camera with blind view monitor, front parking assistance and enhanced driver aids. The AX7L trim also gains auto-dimming IRVM, cooled glove box, illuminated vanity mirrors, premium interior touches and a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos. Fast charging support allows the battery to charge from 0 to 80 per cent in approximately 50 minutes using a 50 kW DC charger.
