Hyundai sold a total of 42,416 units in the month of December 2025; The Creta stood at the top spot followed by the Venue
Hyundai Motor India Limited is one of the leading manufacturers in the Indian market. The Korean carmaker will launch a slew of new models this year, including fresh products as well as facelifts. The company registered total sales of 42,416 units in December 2025, maintain its positioned at the fourth spot in the domestic sales tally. This accounts for a flat growth from the previous year’s figures of 42,208 units.
The MOM analysis reveals a 16% de-growth as the company sold 50,340 units in November 2025. Talking about the model-wise sales, the Creta continues to be the Hyundai’s top performer with 13,154 units in the bag, registering a 4% YOY growth (12,608 units in December 2024).
Taking the second spot is the Venue with the sales bar standing at 10,322 units, a nominal 1% growth from the previous year. On the other hand, Venue lost by 11% in the MOM chart. Trailing behind these high-volume pullers are the Exter and Aura with 5,612 and 4,925 units, respectively. The Exter saw a 6% growth in the YOY sales while the Aura’s graph shot up by a commendable 28%.

Apart from this, the Grand i10 Nios and i20 are also not too far behind, posting sales of 4,010 and 3,339 units, respectively. The YOY sales of the i20 declined by 3% while the Grand i10 Nios registered de-growth of 11%. Similarly, the Verna’s graph also saw a downwards trajectory of 53% in the YOY sales with just 406 units in the bag.
The Hyundai Alcazar also experienced a YOY de-growth of 57% by selling 579 units in December 2025. The downwards trend in the Hyundai’s sales continued with the Tucson, which has now been discontinued in the Indian market. Last but not least, the all-electric premium SUV in the brand’s line-up, the IONIQ 5 registered double digit sales of 69 units, accounting for a 188% growth in December 2025 as compared to the previous year’s figures.

To conclude, the Creta and Venue are the top performers in the Hyundai’s line-up, while Exter and Aura also saw positive growth. On the other hand, every car except the IONIQ 5 experienced a downwards trend in the MOM sales, which comes down to the post festive season slowdown.
