Nissan Gravite will be offered with a 1.0-litre petrol engine in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged forms

Ahead of its formal debut soon, Nissan has offered another look at its upcoming Gravite MPV by revealing the exterior colour options in a new teaser video. The Gravite is based on the same CMF-A platform as the Renault Triber but has been styled in a different manner. The Gravite will be offered in five shades including a signature teal shade that is likely to headline the range – complemented by more conventional choices such as white, silver, black and grey.

As for the cosmetics, the Gravite gets a modern yet upright MPV stance while differentiating itself from its Renault sibling. At the front, the MPV features horizontal LED daytime running lamps and a sleek headlamp assembly. A wide grille area with a prominent horizontal chrome element, sculpted bonnet creases and bold Gravite lettering on the nose are other highlights.

The rear styling boasts split LED tail lamps that are visually connected by a horizontal insert running across the tailgate. The Gravite badge sits centrally along with an upright tailgate, roof-mounted spoiler and bumper elements giving it a busier stance. Under the hood, the Nissan Gravite will be offered with a 1.0-litre petrol engine in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged forms.

Transmission options are expected to include manual and automatic gearboxes. Competitive pricing will more likely be a key strength for the Gravite, much like the Renault Triber, making it an accessible entry point into the MPV segment. On the inside, the Gravite will feature a three-row cabin with a flexible seating layout created to prioritise space.

While Nissan has not yet revealed full interior details, the MPV is expected to offer features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, steering-mounted controls and modern connectivity options. The compact MPV is part of a three-model product offensive that also includes the Tekton five-seat C-segment SUV – scheduled for unveiling on February 4 and a larger three-row C-SUV confirmed for FY 2027.

All three models will be manufactured in India and exported to global markets at the Chennai plant. Although the Gravite’s original unveiling date of January 21, 2026 was deferred, it is still set to become Nissan India’s first launch of 2026 with dealership activities and customer deliveries expected to begin by March.
