Tata Punch EV Facelift will get visual makeover inside and out; features list could be enhanced with new additions including ADAS
Tata Motors will introduce the updated Punch EV in the Indian market on February 20, 2026. The electric SUV will receive visual and feature updates in line with the ICE Punch facelift that went on sale last month. The Punch EV has been on sale for over a couple of years and the facelift could not have come at a better time considering its popularity.
It will help keep the electric SUV competitive in the ever-growing segment. On the outside, the 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift is expected to feature revised front and rear bumpers along with updated lighting elements. A connected LED tail lamp setup, similar to the ICE version, is likely to be part of the update but some revisions specific to the EV are highly possible.
Its signature EV design elements such as the front-mounted charging port, connected LED Daytime Running Lights and aero-styled alloy wheels will more likely be carried forward but the closed off grille could see a makeover. Tata Motors could introduce an ADAS package on the Punch EV for the first time as well judging by the test prototypes.

If offered, it would make the Punch EV one of the few sub-4m electric SUVs in India to feature advanced driver assistance systems. Inside the cabin, the overall dashboard and centre console layout could see minor enhancements. However, Tata Motors could upgrade the infotainment system by offering a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen unit – similar to the one seen on the Nexon EV.
Features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera system and wireless connectivity are expected to continue. The equipment list could reminisce that of the latest IC-engined Punch in more ways than one. On the mechanical front, the Punch EV facelift may receive notable changes.

The smaller 25 kWh unit currently delivers a claimed range of around 265 km while the 35 kWh battery offers up to 365 km. The homegrown manufacturer could bring in a slightly larger battery unit with improve range capabilities to make a stronger impact in the compact EV space.
In terms of pricing, the Punch EV facelift is likely to command a slight premium over the current model. The existing electrified Punch is priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 14.4 lakh (ex-showroom). More details, including variant-wise features and final prices, will be revealed at the time of launch later this month.
