Bajaj Chetak C25 is equipped with a 2.5 kWh battery pack delivering an IDC-certified range of 113 km and uses a hub-mounted motor
Bajaj Auto has already begun retail sales of the new Chetak C25 electric scooter and the company has now linked the launch with a high-profile celebration. Each player from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women’s cricket squad, winners of the latest Women’s T20 League season, will receive a Chetak C25 from the manufacturer.
The announcement effectively closes Bajaj Chetak’s season-long association with the Bengaluru franchise where the brand operated as the team’s Official Ride Partner. Positioned as the most accessible model in the Chetak portfolio, the C25 has been developed mainly for urban commuting and everyday use.
It sits below the Chetak 30 and 35 Series and it appeals to customers looking for a practical and no-nonsense electric scooter. Powering the Chetak C25 is a 2.5 kWh battery pack delivering an IDC-certified range of 113 km. A hub-mounted motor handles propulsion while top speed is capped at 55 kmph. Charging is managed through an off-board 750 W unit with 0–80 per cent achievable in around two and a half hours.

Bajaj also introduced an early-bird incentive to build momentum for the new model. The first 10,000 buyers are eligible for a benefit of Rs. 4,299 – effectively bringing the ex-showroom Delhi price down to Rs. 87,100. Sales and deliveries are currently underway in select cities with nationwide availability being expanded in phases.
Despite being the entry point into the Chetak range, the C25 retains a metal body and carries an IP67 rating for its battery pack. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum setup while a ground clearance of 170 mm and a compact turning radius. Feature highlights include hill hold assist, reverse mode, Eco and Sport ride modes, guide-me-home lighting and basic connected functions.

The scooter also offers 25 litres of under-seat storage and supports external device charging. Colour options include Inductive Black, Racing Red, Classic White, Ocean Teal (Matte), Opalescent Silver and Misty Yellow with a standard warranty of three years or 50,000 km. Commenting on the occasion, Sumeet Narang, President – Marketing, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said,
“Congratulations to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women on a historic 2026 victory. Their resilience and confidence perfectly mirror the values of Chetak. This partnership blends our solid foundation with the ambition of a new generation. To celebrate their dominance, we are gifting the all-new Chetak C25 to each of the RCB Women’s T20 players. Designed for Bengaluru’s vibrant urban spirit and younger riders, the C25 stays true to our heritage.”
