The 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift will come with significant styling updates and latest features while powered by the same battery pack options
Tata Motors has unveiled the 2026 Punch EV facelift ahead of the official launch on Feb 20 in the country. The all-electric version of the micro SUV will come with visual updates at the outside and minor interior enhancements while retaining the same powertrains. The 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift price will be higher than the ongoing model which is priced between Rs 9.99-14.44 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The homegrown automaker had introduced the 2026 Punch ICE last month in India at a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2026 Punch EV facelift comes with substantial exterior updates as it flaunts a closed-off front grille. However, the black-coloured strip connecting the headlamps has been axed from the new model. The scuff plate beneath the front bumper has also been restyled. The alloy wheels come with a new design as well, which is said to be inspired by the Nexon EV.
The 2026 Tata Punch EV will be rolled out in a new colour scheme which will be identical to the ‘Sunlit Yellow’ shade of the Harrier SUV. It comes with a black-finished roof. The updates at the rear profile are not revealed by the brand, but we expect it to borrow the connected LED tail-lamp cluster from the ICE-powered model, which was launched last month in India.

Inside the cabin, the updates are likely to be subtle. Reportedly, it will boast of the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest software. This unit will be sourced from the Nexon EV. The brand could also introduce upholstery in a new theme while the possibility of Level 2 ADAS tech making its way in the new iteration of the SUV cannot be ruled out either.
The 2026 Punch EV will retain most of the features from the ongoing model such as 360-degree camera, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM and ambient lighting. The existing variant line-up is likely to continue with the same grades such as Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure and Empowered.

The same 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery packs with range of 265 km and 365 km, respectively, on a full charge will continue to be offered. While the 25 kWh battery is connected to an electric motor with top power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 114 Nm, the 35 kWh battery comes with a more powerful electric motor of 121 bhp and 190 Nm.
