Maruti Suzuki Victoris has been well received by customers due to its expansive range and the presence of modern features and tech
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has emerged as one of the fastest-growing midsize SUVs in India crossing the 50,000 unit cumulative sales milestone in under five months since its market introduction. The SUV, which entered showrooms in the second half of September 2025, has steadily consolidated its position with consistent monthly volumes right from the beginning.
Consistent demand was visible even before the model completed its first full month on sale. Bookings had already exceeded 25,000 units by early October while the deliveries of the initial lot aligned with the festive season – giving the SUV additional momentum as Navratri footfalls translated into healthy retail numbers across dealerships.
Although September 2025 was only a partial sales month due to the mid-cycle launch, the Victoris still managed to post 4,261 units. The real surge came in October when it recorded 13,496 units. During the month, it outperformed several direct rivals in the segment including its Grand Vitara sibling by more than 3,000 units for the first time.

Offered at an introductory ex-showroom price ranging between Rs. 10.49 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh, the Victoris is sold in six variants. Customers can opt for petrol, CNG or strong hybrid configurations. The hybrid version targets efficiency-conscious buyers with a claimed fuel economy of up to 28.65 kilometres per litre.
