Bajaj Pulsar range is expected to see a major overhaul sooner rather than later ranging from entry-level to more premium models
Bajaj Auto currently sells an expansive range of Pulsars in the Indian market ranging from 125 cc to 400 cc and they are priced between Rs. 81,000 and Rs. 1.94 lakh (ex-showroom). It comprises the entry-level Pulsar, N, NS and RS models adhering to a wide range of consumers. Following the arrival of the GST 2.0 tax regime late last year, the prices of every motorcycle within the Pulsar range saw price reduction barring the flagship NS400 Z.
The Bajaj Pulsar series continues to command the highest volumes for the brand globally as well as in domestic market and is set to receive a major overhaul sooner rather than later. During the company’s Q3 FY26 investor briefing, Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director at Bajaj Auto Limited, outlined plans to introduce eight revised Pulsar models by May 2026.
These upcoming launches will range from subtle styling tweaks to more prominent upgrades involving equipment and possibly mechanical changes. Since November, the Chakan-based manufacturer introduced multiple revisions across its portfolio including the 2026 editions of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Bajaj Pulsar 125.

Through this large-scale refresh, Bajaj may reinforce its standing in the crucial 125 cc and above 150 cc categories. Management believes that a revitalised line-up will enable the brand to outperform overall market growth in these highly competitive engine classes where customer expectations around design and features continue to evolve.
The N series, built on a comparatively modern architecture, is unlikely to undergo huge changes in the near term. In contrast, the NS range is expected to receive a more thorough update. Many motorcycles in this sub-series have been on sale for several years and could benefit from new styling, enhanced digital instrumentation and added features.

Particular attention is anticipated for the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 and Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 which may adopt refreshed design elements and expanded technology offerings even if their fundamental engine configurations remain intact and they could be heavily inspired by the NS400 Z. Meanwhile, the flagship naked could see a reduction in engine displacement to below 350 cc to fall under the lower tax slab. The next-gen Pulsar Classic also appears to be in the pipeline.
