Maruti Suzuki will likely bring in as many as 4 new cars this year and here we have explained them
Set to expand into new categories over the course of 2026, Maruti Suzuki is reportedly preparing a string of launches that could include a pair of new electrified models, a vehicle capable of running on flex fuel and a refreshed iteration of one of its well-known compact SUVs – so here’s a closer look at what may be on the horizon.
1. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara:
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will arrive loaded with a wide spread of modern equipment upon arrival in the coming weeks. Highlights include Level 2 ADAS, a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with wireless phone connectivity, a fully digital driver display, ventilated front seats, multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera setup, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. It also supports rapid DC charging – enabling the battery to jump from 10 to 80 percent capacity in just 50 minutes.
Set to mark Maruti Suzuki’s debut in the all-electric passenger vehicle segment, the midsize SUV is built on the dedicated Heartect-e platform and offered with two battery choices. Customers can opt for either a 49 kWh pack or a larger 61 kWh unit the latter promising a certified range of up to 543 kilometres on a full charge.

2. Updated Maruti Suzuki Fronx:
Following its strong demand in India, the Fronx could soon gain additional equipment and technology upgrades as several advanced features currently offered in Southeast Asia–spec versions may be introduced for the domestic model by 2026. Among the expected additions is an advanced Level 2 ADAS package. The compact SUV coupe is tipped to potentially debut the company’s flex-fuel technology in the market as well.
3. Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift:
After being spotted on public roads several times lately, the refreshed Brezza appears set to introduce an updated cabin featuring additional equipment, most notably a larger infotainment touchscreen. On the outside, updates are expected to be modest with only light cosmetic alterations to its styling and a set of new alloy wheels. One of the more practical upgrades, however, will likely be the repositioned CNG tank placed beneath the floor instead of inside the boot freeing up luggage space.

4. Maruti Suzuki YMC:
Sharing its underpinnings and possible battery choices with the e Vitara, the electric MPV – known internally as YMC – is tipped to consolidate Maruti Suzuki’s EV portfolio upon arrival in the near future. Design cues may also echo its SUV relative and in terms of positioning, the people-mover could take on Kia Carens Clavis EV.
