Jeep India has brought back a tribute model inspired by its historic military roots with the relaunch of the Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition. The limited run SUV returns to the Indian market after the previous iteration witnessed an overwhelming response according to the brand as it was said to be quickly snapped up by enthusiasts across the country.
The Jeep Wrangler Willys 1941 edition draws inspiration from the original 1941 Willys MB – the off-road machine that played a defining role in shaping Jeep’s identity worldwide. Designed as an interpretation of that iconic war era vehicle, the latest version combines vintage design elements with the go-anywhere capability of the Wrangler Rubicon.
Production is capped at just 41 units nationwide – making it one of the rarest Wrangler versions to be offered in India. Each vehicle features distinctive exterior graphics that represents its military heritage along with unique identification markings that signify its limited production status.

On the equipment front, the Jeep Wrangler Willys 1941 special edition comes fitted with several premium additions to up its practicality and other bits. These include powered side steps for easier access and an integrated dash camera system. The special edition also benefits from selected accessories that compound its adventurous personality..
Customers can further personalise their limited edition with an optional accessory bundle. The package comprises a roof-mounted carrier with a side ladder and a ‘Sunrider’ rooftop system. Underneath its heritage-inspired styling, the SUV retains the well-known mechanical elements of the Wrangler Rubicon including its four-wheel-drive system and off-road hardware.

The Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition is available through authorised Jeep dealerships across India. It carries a price premium of Rs. 2 lakh over the standard Rubicon variant which costs Rs. 68.31 lakh (ex-showroom) while the optional accessory pack is offered at Rs. 3.6 lakh.
