Bajaj Auto endured an auspicious month in terms of recording sales numbers in February 2026 with total volumes climbing to 4,48,259 units across two-wheelers and commercial vehicles representing a 27 per cent increase over the 3,52,071 units recorded during the same period last year. As you might expect, two-wheelers continued to be the primary contributor to overall volumes for the homegrown manufacturer.

Export shipments of two-wheelers also saw notable growth – rising to 1,93,757 units compared to 1,53,280 units in the same month last year.
The 26 per cent export growth shows Bajaj’s good reception in several foreign markets in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and South/Southeast Asia. Commercial vehicles delivered equally encouraging results as well. Its total CV volumes increased to 68,338 units in February 2026 – up 30 per cent from 52,653 units sold during the corresponding period twelve months ago.

The domestic CV dispatches rose to 46,417 units while exports climbed sharply to 21,921 units – registering a 43 per cent jump. Looking at combined domestic performance across both segments, Bajaj Auto recorded 2,32,581 units in February 2026 – compared to 1,83,415 units last year. Export volumes across two-wheelers and commercial vehicles together reached 2,15,678 units with a 28 per cent increase year on year.
On a cumulative basis for the April–February period of the financial year, total volumes reached 46,72,290 units – representing a 9 per cent growth over 42,81,143 units in the corresponding period of the previous year. Two-wheelers accounted for 39,36,377 units while commercial vehicle sales contributed 7,35,913 units.

The shipments to overseas arena continued to play a big role in the year-to-date performance as for commercial vehicles it surged 52 per cent during the April–February period while overall exports rose 21 per cent. KTM’s 390 range and Bajaj’s own Dominar 400 and NS 400Z will more likely get downsized engines to benefit from the GST 2.0 tax advantage but their official launch timelines have not been announced yet.
We already know that the Pulsar range is due a big update by the middle of this CY as well as the brand looks to further consolidate its presence in India as well as global markets. Within a couple of months, Triumph’s entry-level 400 cc range will see its displacement reduced to be priced competitively in India.
