Hero MotoCorp dispatched a total of 5,58,216 units in the month of February 2026 – registering an increase of about 44 per cent compared with 3,88,068 units in the same month last year. Retail momentum was equally encouraging as 4,58,346 vehicles were recorded on the VAHAN portal with an 18 per cent year on year rise based on data available as of March 1, 2026 excluding Telangana.

International operations contributed in a notable manner to the monthly tally. Export volumes climbed to 41,248 units in February 2026 ensuring a growth of around 34 per cent over 30,772 units shipped a year earlier. Meanwhile, the demand across overseas territories remained firm due to positive response to the company’s commuter-based offerings.

The standalone electric sub-brand from Hero, Vida, posted 12,514 registrations during the month and expanded its market share three times over compared to the previous year. It must be noted that motorcycles continued to anchor total volumes. The dispatches in this category reached 499,756 units – significantly higher than the 3,52,312 units recorded in February last year.

The 100 cc to 125 cc segment remained a primary growth engine. Scooters too registered healthy market surge last month with volumes rising to 58,460 units from 35,756 units a year earlier. For instance, updated products such as the Xoom and Destini supported the upward trend – particularly in city focused markets.

On a cumulative basis for the financial year to date, total dispatches stood at 5,870,636 units compared to 5,349,583 units during the same period of the previous fiscal. The domestic sales accounted for 5,513,543 units while exports contributed 357,093 units. Industry recognition capped a strong month for Hero MotoCorp with multiple accolades in different segments.
