Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder gets benefits of up to Rs. 1 lakh during the campaign period running from February 16, 2026 and till the end of March
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the introduction of “Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Month,” a special month-long customer engagement campaign celebrating the continued success of the five-seater midsize SUV. The campaign is currently running from February 16, 2026 and to the end of March and has been organised across major markets in North India.
Key regions covered include NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir. Launched in 2022, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has established a dedicated fan following in the domestic midsize SUV space. With prices starting competitively from Rs. 10.94 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV has received positive response from consumers.
The model recently crossed the two lakh unit sales milestone as well courtesy of its expansive product range and the saving the strong hybrid variant brings to the table. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is amongst the top-selling passenger vehicles for the Japanese manufacturer in India alongside the Innova series and Fortuner.

One of the biggest highlights of the SUV is its Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric system. The hybrid powertrain combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with Toyota Hybrid System (THS) and an electric motor. According to Toyota, the SUV can run up to 40 per cent of the distance and 60 percent of the time on electric power – allowing the engine to shut off during low-load conditions.
The setup helps deliver a fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl. Apart from the strong hybrid option, the SUV is also available with the Neo Drive mild-hybrid powertrain which uses a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). It produces 100.5 hp and 135 Nm of torque and is hooked with a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

Customers can also choose between two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations depending on the variant. In terms of design, it features a crystal acrylic grille section, twin LED DRLs, sculpted body lines and 17-inch alloy wheels. The cabin boasts ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat along with an electronic parking brake.
It offers 55 connected features via Toyota i-Connect, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paddle shifters, wireless charging, and multiple USB ports. Safety is handled by six airbags as standard, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Hold Control, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX mounts. Customers also receive a 3-year/100,000 km warranty – extendable to 5 years/220,000 km – and an 8-year/160,000 km hybrid battery warranty along with benefits of up to Rs. 1 lakh during the campaign period.
