As part of a new product offensive expected over the next couple of years, Maruti Suzuki is reportedly preparing to strengthen its portfolio while also exploring new segments. The pipeline could include a mid-cycle update for one of its popular compact SUVs, an updated Maruti Suzuki Fronx with flex-fuel compatibility and an all-new electric MPV and here we have explained them:
1. New Maruti Suzuki Fronx:
The Fronx is reportedly being considered as the first model in Maruti Suzuki’s domestic lineup to feature a flex-fuel powertrain with the crossover currently under evaluation as a potential platform for introducing the technology in India. If the plan moves forward, the Fronx could become the brand’s initial flex-fuel offering in the country.
In addition, the model may also receive a Level 2 ADAS suite, similar to versions available in certain international markets, although the company has not officially confirmed these updates yet. A range of higher-end features and technologies presently seen in ASEAN regions may also be introduced on the India-spec Maruti Suzuki Fronx in the future.

2. Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift:
Latest spy images indicate that the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Brezza could be moving closer to its official debut with the most prominent updates likely to be focused on the interior. The revised SUV is expected to feature a larger infotainment display along with additional equipment.
These interior upgrades would allow Maruti Suzuki to keep the Brezza competitive in its segment as buyer expectations for in-car technology continue to grow. On the outside, the updates are likely to remain fairly minimal – potentially restricted to small styling revisions and a redesigned set of alloy wheels on the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. However, a more profound change could appear in the CNG version where the fuel tank may be repositioned under the floor.

3. Maruti Suzuki YMC:
Built on the same platform and expected to share similar battery configurations as the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, the upcoming electric MPV – internally referred to as YMC – will more likely become a key model in expanding Maruti Suzuki’s electric vehicle lineup. In terms of design, the MPV could also borrow several styling cues from its SUV counterpart.
