The model also carries significance for Royal Enfield because it was the first motorcycle from the brand to adopt the newer J-series platform which introduced improvements in mechanical refinement, engine smoothness and overall ride quality compared with the earlier generation engines used by the company. The Meteor 350 is sold in over 60 countries with particularly strong demand in Latin America, Europe and several SAARC markets.

Recognition from the industry followed soon after its debut as well. The motorcycle went on to win the Indian Motorcycle of the Year award in 2021. The Meteor 350 measures 2,140 mm in length, 845 mm in width (excluding mirrors) and 1,140 mm in height. It boasts a seat height of 765 mm, a wheelbase of 1,400 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm.
