Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus and Tiguan R-Line are offered in March 2026 with impressive discounts and benefits in India
Volkswagen has introduced a new round of customer benefits across its popular models in India. Consumers looking at the brand’s current lineup this month can take advantage of sizeable savings. The benefits mainly apply to existing inventory from the 2025 production batch but select 2026 units also receive smaller incentives.
The biggest focus of the programme is the Volkswagen Taigun which continues to be one of the company’s good performers in the midsize SUV space. Discounts vary depending on the variant and production year but the highlight is the Topline manual variant from the MY25 stock which receives a massive cash benefit of up to Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Even the automatic version gets sizeable benefits – bringing down the effective purchase price considerably for buyers willing to pick from available inventory. Variants such as the GT Line and Topline from the earlier production batch can see benefits of up to Rs. 75,000 in cash discounts along with additional exchange and loyalty advantages. Moving to the top of the portfolio, the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line receives the largest single discount package in the brand’s domestic portfolio right now.
The premium SUV is available with a cash reduction of Rs. 3.5 lakh this month which significantly lowers the gap between it and similarly priced rivals in the segment. Additional incentives can further increase the overall value proposition. Exchange bonuses of up to Rs. 50,000 are available when customers trade in their existing vehicle through authorised dealership channels while loyalty bonuses reward existing owners of Volkswagen cars.

In practical terms, the Tiguan R-Line ends up offering the highest overall value this month with combined benefits reaching as much as Rs. 4.5 lakh depending on eligibility. Meanwhile, the Taigun remains the most aggressively discounted volume model – making it particularly attractive for those considering a midsize SUV.
These offers are available for a limited period and largely depend on dealership stock levels especially for the older production units. With the financial year closing soon, such aggressive pricing strategies are typically focussed at clearing inventory and boosting final quarter sales numbers. For customers planning to buy a Volkswagen, March could prove to be one of the better opportunities to negotiate a good deal.
