Bookings for the MG M9 are open for an initial token of Rs. 1 lakh ahead of customer deliveries in August
The price for the M9 has been announced today by JSW MG Motor India and it will be retailed exclusively through the MG Select premium dealerships. Carries an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 69.90 lakh, the electric luxury MPV positions itself at the upper end of India’s growing EV market. Its customer deliveries will begin from August 10, 2025.
Powering the M9 is a 90 kWh NMC battery pack paired with a dual electric motor setup delivering a maximum power output of 245 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. On a full charge, the M9 is claimed to cover up to 548 kilometres under standard test conditions according to the brand. MG provides both an 11 kW wall box with home installation as well as a 3.3 kW portable charger as part of the vehicle package.
The M9 has secured five-star safety ratings from both ANCAP and Euro NCAP crash test assessments. The first registered owner is also entitled to a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery. The vehicle itself is covered under a 3-year or unlimited kilometre warranty. The MG M9 has been made available in three exterior finishes: Concrete Grey, Pearl Lustre White, and Metal Black.

Bookings can be made either through MG Select Experience Centres or online with a token amount of Rs. 1 lakh. Targeted at those who place a premium on comfort and discretion, the M9 boasts several upmarket equipment and technologies. Occupants in the rear receive a pair of fully adjustable Presidential Seats with 16-way controls, ventilation and heating options and eight distinct massage settings.
These are operated through a central touchscreen-based armrest interface. Measuring a length of 5,270 mm, the MG M9 is one of the longest MPVs currently set for sale in India. It comes with a 3,200 mm wheelbase, a width of 2,000 mm and a height of 1,840 mm. The MG M9 takes on fourth generation Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire.

The features list also comprises seven airbags, TPMS, electronic stability control, disc brakes at all four corners, a 360-degree camera system, Level 2 ADAS and more. MG will add the Cyberster electric roadster to the MG Select lineup soon.
