2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 2

In the top 10 two-wheelers sold in June 2025, Hero Splendor finished on top ahead of the Honda duo of Activa and Shine

The Hero Splendor remained out of reach in June crossing 3.31 lakh units and recording a growth of 8.34 per cent to sit on top of the two-wheeler sales standings. No other two-wheeler managed to breach the three-lakh mark and the gap between first and second place grew again. The commuter segment continues to draw its strength from long-running names but not all of them stood steady.

Honda’s Activa, the most popular pick in the scooter market, came down sharply but still finished in the second position. It registered 1.83 lakh units in June – reflecting a steep fall of 21.47 per cent compared to the same month last year. The TVS Jupiter, however, moved up the ranks. With over 1.07 lakh units sold in June, it saw a strong year-on-year improvement of 49.71 per cent.

Although it still trailed Activa in outright numbers, the scooter seems to have gained favour among those seeking alternatives in the family scooter segment last month. Hero’s HF Deluxe came in next with just over one lakh units – managing a modest 12.16 per cent improvement. While it did not post a dramatic change, its consistency kept it in the top five.

Further down the list, the TVS Apache showed a quieter uptick with 41,386 units – up 11.37 per cent. Its utilitarian sibling, the TVS XL, reported 33,349 units but declined by 17.45 per cent.
