Motohaus VLF Tennis 1500 gets new features and longer range; Slate Blue and Ebony Black are the new colour schemes added to the lineup
Motohaus India and VLF India have introduced an updated version of the VLF Tennis 1500 electric scooter. While pricing remains unchanged at Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), the refreshed model gets subtle changes including new features and longer range. The update brings two additional paint schemes – Slate Blue and Ebony Black – joining the earlier Fire Fury Dark Red and Snowflake White.
The claimed range figure has also gone up too as it is now rated at 150 km under IDC standards which represents an improvement of 20 kilometres compared to the earlier version. No weight penalty has been introduced and the visual updates are clean and minimal. Underneath, the chassis remains based on a high-tensile tubular steel frame – originally drawn up by Alessandro Tartarini.
The suspension hardware consists of a telescopic fork up front and a single hydraulic shock at the rear – mounted through a progressive cantilever linkage. Braking continues to be managed by disc brakes at both ends with CBS providing equalised braking force. In terms of equipment, the most notable addition is a mobile charging outlet which now offered as standard.

The battery pack has also been revised to a new LMFP type with an aluminium case. It promises better thermal durability and safety in real world conditions. Ride modes remain unchanged too as Eco, Normal, and Sport are offered and each adjusts throttle response and top speed based on the use case. Also carried over is the 5-inch colour TFT screen.
It is accompanied by full LED lighting, keyless start and a motor cut-off linked to the side stand. The under seat compartment continues to offer an 18-litre capacity which can accommodate daily essentials or a portable charger without fuss. The announcement comes ahead of the VLF Mobster, a petrol-powered scooter expected to debut during this festive season in India.
