Once launched, the 2026 Hero Glamour 125 will become the first affordable commuter motorcycle in India to get the cruiser control system
Hero Motocorp, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, is currently working on multiple new products for the domestic market. In the latest development, the Glamour 125 has been spied testing, revealing some interesting details. The commuter motorcycle is set to receive a major update, introducing segment-first features to the package. Let’s look at the details of the upcoming 2026 Hero Glamour 125.
The spy images doing rounds on the internet highlight the test prototype sports cruise control, a feature that is only seen in the premium motorcycles. None of the bikes in Hero’s line-up comes with this feature, not even the flagship Mavrick 440. While cruise control is a feature that benefits bigger capacity motorcycles with highway touring capability, introducing it in the commuter bikes can be a game-changer for the home-grown brand.
Going into details, the test mule was seen in a fully camouflaged guise, however, it seems to be covered in brown duct tape, rather than the conventional test covers. The visible fuel lid, shape of the tank and the long single-piece seat confirm that the test prototype is indeed the Glamour 125.

Talking about the changes, we can also spot a fully digital LCD instrument cluster, which could be the familiar unit seen on the Xtreme 250, however, nothing can be confirmed as of now. Overall, the new digital console appears quite upmarket, and the USB charging slot is positioned just below it.
In addition to this, the updated Hero Glamour 125 will also feature LED turn indicators, which the current model misses out on. With the inclusion of cruise control and a fully digital instrument cluster, an updated switch gear console becomes an absolute must, and these can be seen on the test prototype.

Apart from this, design elements like telescopic forks at the front, conventional foot pegs, a fully covered chain, usable grab rail, simple crash guard and a long single-piece seat speak of its commuter identity. The updated Glamour 125 will continue to be powered by the familiar 124.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, putting out 10.7 bhp and 10.6 Nm of peak torque.
The 2026 Hero Glamour 125 will go up against the likes of TVS Raider 125 and the recently unveiled Honda CB125 Hornet, amongst others, in the Indian market. While we can’t confirm the launch timeline of the updated model, more details are expected to drop in the coming months.
