Mahindra & Mahindra has released another teaser of the Vision S concept SUV, offering a clearer look at the rear end of the vehicle. The brand currently has the Scorpio as one of its longest running nameplates as well as the most popular within its portfolio. Taking advantage of its consistency, its range will be consolidated in the coming years.
The Mahindra Vision S concept will be shown in full on August 15, 2025 during the Freedom_NU event in Mumbai where as many as four concepts will break cover. It will be unveiled alongside the Vision T, Vision X and the Vision SXT which is a more evolved version of the Scorpio N based Global Pik Up concept unveiled a few years ago in South Africa.
Back to the Vision S, it appears to preview the electric version of the Scorpio N with a modernised exterior and interior. The latest teaser has given us a sneak peek into tailgate-mounted spare wheel, side hinged door section and trapezoidal grab handle. The taillights appear integrated into the rear bumper rather than placed higher up.
Mahindra has also teased the pronounced rear wheel arches wrapped in additional plastic cladding. Earlier teasers had revealed parts of the front and profile. Among confirmed front end features are a sealed-off fascia, boxy bodywork, bonnet-mounted scoops and squared-off wheel arches with sharp angular detailing.
A set of off-road focused possibly all-weather tyres could also be offered. The raked front windshield and upright front structure are also apparent in the Vision S concept. Design cues so far suggest a vehicle banking heavily on adventure-ready styling rather than soft-roader proportions. However, Mahindra has not released any specifications or interior images yet.
A near production electric Thar will be another highlight of the upcoming show as Mahindra looks to go all-in on its popular SUVs by expand their range further. A new platform has also been prepared to debut at the same event. The Scorpio N and Thar EVs could be launched within the next couple of years.
