We have with us today the new OnePlus 15, the company’s flagship going into 2026. Although we cannot share any opinions or performance figures today, we can showcase the design, along with a few sample images taken with the camera.

The OnePlus 15 comes in the standard red OnePlus packaging, which loses the large standalone numbers on the box to now say the full name of the phone, just as we saw with the 13s. The packaging pictured here is the one you will get if you purchase the phone in India. This means you will get the phone, a 120W fast charger with a cable, and a color-matched soft silicone case. In markets like the EU and the US, you will only get the cable inside a much thinner box.

The bundled case is good enough, but OnePlus will also be selling three first-party cases for the phone. This includes the Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case. This case invokes memories of a different kind of case — a computer case, actually — from brands such as DeepCool and Cooler Master, which feature a similar square hole design and colored bits that you can insert in them to create custom patterns. This case also came with a bunch of red rubber squares that you can plug into the holes, and they stick out a bit when attached, providing a bit of tactility. There are fewer rubber bits provided than there are holes in the case, so you can’t just plug all of them in.

This case features a MagSafe-like magnetic coil inside, which lets you attach magnetic chargers, including OnePlus’ own AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger. And you need this, or one of the other two OnePlus magnetic cases, if you intend to use a magnetic charger with the phone, as the OnePlus 15 itself does not have any magnets.

Getting back to the phone, the OnePlus 15 has a revised design for this generation, which is an evolution of what we saw with the OnePlus 13s. Both phones adopt the new squared-off camera island design. The camera island looks like a miniature version of the phone itself, with flat sides and much more rounded corners than seen on previous generation designs.

Side by side, they look like two evolutions of the same Pokémon. Of course, the 15 is considerably larger than the 13s.

Speaking of evolutions, you can also see how the design has evolved over the past two generations of the flagship mainline OnePlus phone. The OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 13 featured the now distinctive circular camera designs with intricate detailing, beautiful polished aluminum frames sandwiched between the flowing glass panels, and much tighter corner radii.

Sitting here gleaming in the sun, the 12 and the 13 look every bit of a flagship that they purported themselves to be. And then there’s… Well, let’s just say, it’s probably for the best that opinions aren’t allowed today, at least as far as this author is concerned.

The phone comes with a triple 50MP camera system on the back, but without the Hasselblad branding that accompanied the previous five generations. Instead, OnePlus is using what it calls its DetailMax Engine. Much has been said about the cameras already, and much will be said in the coming days, but for now, let’s just look at some camera samples.
