The ‘vanilla’ Galaxy S26 was for a while rumored to be called Galaxy S26 Pro, but if that was ever the plan, Samsung is now rumored to have given up on it.
Interestingly, however, the Korean company has allegedly tweaked the device’s dimensions at the last minute. According to a new report, the S26’s final measurements are 149.5 x 71.6 x 7.24 mm, and the thickness goes up to 10.44 mm at the camera bump.

The previous dimensions shared with accessory makers were 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96 mm, so the phone has grown ever so slightly in all directions. Hopefully this means a bigger battery will be fitted, but Samsung doesn’t like big batteries so we’re not holding our collective breath. Compared to the S25, the S26 is now taller, wider, and marginally thicker, for what it’s worth.
The S26 is expected to come with a flat screen, three rear cameras using the new design where they’re sitting on top of an oval-shaped island, and of course all buttons on the right side of the frame. Like the rest of the family, the S26 is likely to use both the Exynos 2600 SoC and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, depending on the market.
