Tata Nexon continued to lead the way ahead of Hyundai Creta, Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Tata Punch in top 10 sales table for SUVs in October 2025
The SUV space continued its dominant run in October 2025 with strong performances from leading manufacturers. The Tata Nexon once again emerged as the country’s best-selling SUV, – posting 22,083 units with a 50 per cent year-on-year growth. The festive season and GST 2.0 price drops could not have come at a better time for the compact SUV.
The Hyundai Creta followed in second place with 18,381 units – recording a modest 5 per cent increase over last year. Despite heightened competition, the Creta’s versatile powertrain options and premium features have kept it a steady favourite in the midsize SUV space.
In third place, the Mahindra Scorpio achieved 18,107 units which resulted in a 14 per cent rise year-on-year. The Scorpio N and Classic continue to attract both urban and rural buyers courtesy of their bossy design and proven diesel performance.
