Kia Telluride gets a thorough overhaul inside and out and it will make its world premiere at the 2025 LA Auto Show
Kia has unveiled the second generation Telluride ahead of its global debut at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show which is schedule to happen between November 21 and 30. Building upon the success of the original model, the new Telluride gets a thorough overhaul inside and out as it adopts the latest iteration of Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy.
Now longer, wider, and taller than before, the SUV continues with a boxy yet modern appeal. Meanwhile, the stretched wheelbase enhances interior room and overall practicality. At the front, the Telluride comes with a new face emphasised by vertical LED lighting, a prominent high-gloss grille section, and sculpted hood lines.
The body features chiseled creases, floating wheel cladding and flush door handles that indicate its aerodynamic appeal. The rear design remains muscular with vertically aligned tail lamps that echo the front’s signature lighting pattern to hep maintain the instantly recognisable Telluride identity. The cabin layout is wide and horizontal with wraparound dashboard, metal accents and wood-like textures.

Kia has focused on creating a space that feels both premium and welcoming – supported by soft ambient lighting and practical elements like foldable tables and reconfigurable storage. Increased length and height contribute to improved headroom and easier access to the second and third rows as well. The X-Pro trim features a more rugged aesthetic and genuine off-road credentials.
It gains all-terrain tyres, increased ground clearance and recovery hooks along with blacked-out accents and raised roof rails. The twin vertical LED bars at the front and rear adopt Kia’s Star Map signature while the new Ground Lighting feature adds both visual appeal and practicality by illuminating the area around the SUV. Its wheel options now range up to 21 inches.

Set to reach showrooms in early 2026, the all-new Kia Telluride sits at the top of the brand’s SUV portfolio. The three-row premium SUV has a lot in common with the India-bound Hyundai Palisade as they share underpinnings and other bits. While official powertrain details remain under wraps, it is expected to continue with a 3.5L V6 engine producing 287 hp and a 2.5L turbo hybrid mill kicking out around 329 hp.
