New Tata Sierra is all set to be introduced later this month in India and it will be positioned in the midsize SUV segment above Curvv
Tata Motors has officially revealed the all-new Sierra’s interior through its latest teaser video giving the most comprehensive look yet at the production-ready cabin. While the exterior has already been showcased extensively in earlier teasers and auto show appearances, the new glimpse confirms how Tata has managed to combine nostalgia with modernity in its much-awaited SUV revival.
The latest teaser shows the Sierra’s cabin in detail featuring a three screen setup with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen infotainment display and a secondary passenger-side screen. The dashboard layout follows Tata’s latest design theme with layered materials, ambient lighting and focus on technology. Adjustable headrests for all five occupants, auto-dimming IRVM, premium upholstery and a multifunction steering wheel borrowed from other Tata SUVs can also be seen.
The Sierra’s panoramic large sunroof extends all the way to the rear section – a direct tribute to the original SUV’s signature glass panel. Tata’s designers have reinterpreted the old Sierra’s silhouette incorporating boxy proportions, squarish wheel arches, tall pillars and an upright tailgate while keeping the proportions sleek for a midsize SUV.

You could also see flush-fitting door handles, a full-width rear LED light bar, sporty alloy wheels and an integrated roof spoiler. The shark-fin antenna along with the raised bonnet and muscular shoulder line further enhances its road presence. The seats appear well-contoured for comfort, and the inclusion of premium materials such as soft-touch finishes and metallic accents reiterate its upmarket stance.
Tata Motors will launch the new Sierra in India on November 25, 2025 – positioning it between the Curvv and Harrier in its SUV lineup. The SUV will initially debut with internal combustion engines as Tata’s new 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units could be introduced and they will be followed by a fully electric variant later early next year.

The turbo petrol engine is expected to produce around 168 PS and 280 Nm, paired with manual and automatic transmission choices. The electric Sierra, likely sharing its underpinnings with the Harrier EV, will be offered with two battery options with the larger pack delivering over 500 km of driving range in real world scenarios.
