Not long ago we heard a rumor saying that OnePlus was working on the Ace 6 Pro Max, which was to join the already available Ace 6 in the company’s portfolio.
However, today a new rumor out of China claims there is no Ace 6 Pro Max. Instead, that device will be marketed as the OnePlus Ace 6T. The phone will come in an “electric purple” colorway, which will resemble the OnePlus 6T’s Thunder Purple hue, apparently.

The OnePlus Ace 6T will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series SoC (most likely the 8 Gen 5). It will have a 165Hz refresh rate screen, as well as “ultra-fast” fingerprint unlocking.
The source of this rumor is the prolific leaker who goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, who has a pretty good track record. If it was some other source, we’d be a lot more skeptical, seeing as how, earlier this month, we saw a leak that appeared to show the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max’s box rolling off an assembly line in China.
That said, we can’t be sure either way, so while we don’t 100% know what it will be called, it seems pretty easy to conclude that OnePlus is indeed working on another member of the Ace 6 family. Stay tuned.
