Kia officially introduced the new-gen Seltos a few days ago in India. Bookings are already underway across the country with an upfront amount of Rs. 25,000 and prices are scheduled to be revealed on January 2, 2026. Customer deliveries are planned to begin by mid-January 2026, placing the new Seltos on Indian roads shortly after the announcement.

Lighting and exterior elements see a complete refresh. Projection LED headlamps and glossy black grille are flanked by star-map LED daytime running lights. At the rear, connected LED tail lamps define the new signature. Sporty touches include crystal-cut 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with neon-highlighted brake calipers, integrated skid plates, a roof-mounted spoiler and smart automatic flush door handles.

The cabin moves more upmarket with a dual-tone black and white colour scheme finished in leatherette upholstery. The dashboard is dominated by a wide 30-inch panoramic panel that merges the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen. It also gets a 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, memory settings linked to the ORVMs, a relaxation function and an automated welcome feature.

Dimensionally, the SUV has grown in every direction to strengthen its stance. With an overall length of 4,460 mm and a width of 1,830 mm, it now stands as the longest offering in its segment. The wheelbase stretches to 2,690 mm while increases in height and width contribute to improved cabin space and a broader visual footprint.

Feature highlights continue with front seat ventilation, a wireless charging pad, dual Type-C ports, sunshade curtains and split reclining rear seats. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting and an eight-speaker Bose audio system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, proximity-based smart key access and Kia Connect 2.0 are also available.

The new Seltos becomes the first Kia in India to adopt the global K3 platform. The new architecture improves structural rigidity, crash energy distribution and overall NVH control. Standard protection includes six airbags, ABS, ESC, hill-start assist, rollover mitigation and rear occupant alert. The Level 2 ADAS package brings 21 driver assistance features.

Buyers can choose from a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol, a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These are paired with a wide range of transmissions including manual, iMT, CVT, seven-speed dual-clutch and six-speed automatic. Kia is offering the SUV in HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX trims – complemented by multiple option packs and the X-Line styling package for higher variants and here are the variant-wise features:
