Bajaj Auto has confirmed the launch of 8 new bikes in the next five to six months, including updated Pulsar line-up and a new sub-brand in the 125cc to 250cc segment

Bajaj Auto is one of the top two-wheeler manufacturers in the Indian market, and its Pulsar nameplate has been quite popular amongst young customers. In the latest development, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, the company’s Managing Director, has confirmed that multiple new products are in the pipeline in the next five to six months.

To begin with, the popular Pulsar line-up will receive a slew of major and minor updates, while an entirely new sub-brand, potentially targeting the 125cc to 250cc capacity segment, is also on the cards. Previously, a senior executive at Bajaj highlighted during an earnings call that seven motorcycles in its line-up have already been updated since November 2025, while others are due for a refresh in the coming months.

As per the reports, the Classic Pulsar line-up will likely get major updates, including the Pulsar 125, Pulsar 160 and Pulsar 220. While the specific details around the upcoming models are under wraps, we also expect the NS series, which includes NS125, NS160, NS200 and NS400Z, to get a major overhaul, as these motorcycles haven’t received any noticeable changes in the last few years.

Setting aside the Pulsar franchise, Bajaj is also planning to expand its portfolio in the coming years, particularly with a new sub-brand in the 125cc-250cc displacement segment. Moreover, the ADV and off-road motorcycle segment, an area which is still untouched by the company, is also under evaluation, considering the rising popularity of adventure bikes in the domestic as well as international markets.

The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer is aiming to expand its footprint in the global markets, and new adventure motorcycles will likely boost the export numbers. Currently, Bajaj has a widespread presence in 108 countries, specifically in the 250cc plus segment, with the Pulsar, Dominar, KTM, Triumph and Husqvarna brands.

Apart from this, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj also confirmed that the current Triumph 400cc line-up is ready to get a new downsized 350cc engine in the interest of tax benefits for motorcycles below 350cc under the GST 2.0 regime, which came into effect in September 2025. Scheduled for a launch in April 2026, the Triumph 350cc motorcycles will be priced lower than the current line-up.
