Hero Vida VX2 has been made available in VX2 Go and VX2 Plus variants; gets claimed riding range of up to 142 km per charge
A few days ago, Hero’s Vida brand launched the more affordable VX2 in two variants: VX2 Go and VX2 Plus. They can either be purchased outright or bought via Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription which starts at Rs. 0.96 per km. Here we have linked the comprehensive range test and ride review video of the Plus variant below.
The VX2 Go and VX2 Plus are equipped with detachable battery packs. A 2.2 kWh unit in the former and a larger 3.4 kWh pack in the latter. The claimed riding range stands at 92 km for the Go and extends to 142 km on the Plus while fast charging brings the battery to eighty per cent in about 60 minutes. The system allows for three different charging methods, making it convenient whether parked at home or charging en route.
Vida’s scooters currently retailing in India are offered with a warranty covering five years or 50,000 kilometres. After-sales support is handled through Hero’s service and dealer network which spans over 500 locations across the country. Buyers have the option of placing bookings either through physical outlets or via the brand’s online platform.

Hero has confirmed that the VX2 range has now reached nationwide availability with deliveries to customers already in progress. The overall design follows the recognisable Vida silhouette. The seat has been designed to comfortably fit two adults while 12-inch wheels aim to offer a more grounded ride across varied road surfaces.
On the VX2 Go, boot space measures 33.2 litres once the battery is removed. Key standard features across the lineup include turn-by-turn navigation, remote immobilisation and real-time telemetry while the VX2 Plus comes with a 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen interface boasting smartphone connectivity and is compatible with over-the-air firmware updates.
