Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has revealed the CB125 Hornet – a new addition to the 125cc motorcycle segment as part of the brand celebrating 25 years in the domestic market. Bookings for the CB125 Hornet, along with the Shine 100 DX, will begin from August 1, 2025. At the heart of the new Hornet is a 123.94 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine.
It delivers 11 hp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm and the powertrain is coupled with a five-speed transmission. Honda claims it’s the quickest in its class, doing 0-60 kmph in just 5.4 seconds. The motorcycle tips the weighing scale at 124 kg and benefits from a lightweight diamond-type frame which should translate to agile handling.
Visually, the CB125 Hornet makes an impression with its aggressive LED headlamp setup, high-mounted indicators and muscular fuel tank shrouds. The ignition switch is positioned on the tank and a split seat setup is also available. The real head-turner here, though, is the segment-first golden USD front forks. It also gets a monoshock at the rear with 5-step adjustability.

On the technology side, the new Honda CB125 Hornet packs a 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth integration and smartphone connectivity.
It connects to the Honda RoadSync app giving riders turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, and music control on the go – all toggleable via handlebar-mounted switches. A USB Type-C charging port, engine stop switch and side-stand engine cut-off complete the feature list. Honda is offering the CB125 Hornet in four dual-tone shades as well.
