Honda CB125 Hornet comes with a 123.94 cc engine pumping out 11 hp and 11.2 Nm; boasts USD forks and 4.2-inch TFT screen
Honda has taken the wraps off the CB125 Hornet bringing a new contender into the 125cc motorcycle space. Bookings for the motorcycle are scheduled to commence on August 1, 2025 alongside the Shine 100 DX. Powering the new Hornet is a 123.94 cc single-cylinder engine that features fuel injection and is OBD2B compliant with E20 fuel support.
A detailed walkaround video has also been shared, offering a closer look at the design and mechanical details. The powertrain in the CB125 Hornet puts out 11 hp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm mated to a five-speed transmission. According to Honda, the motorcycle leads its class in acceleration – reaching 60 kmph from a standstill in just 5.4 seconds.
Tipping the scales at 124 kg, the Hornet makes use of a diamond-type frame that keeps weight in check and is expected to deliver nimble handling characteristics. As for the design, the CB125 Hornet boasts split LED headlamp and high-set front indicators. The sculpted fuel tank shrouds add volume to the profile while the tank-mounted ignition setup, a split seat layout and segment-first golden USD front forks are other highlights.

The rear suspension features a monoshock with five-step preload adjustment. Braking hardware comprises a 240 mm disc up front and a 130 mm drum at the rear, supported by a single-channel ABS system. The CB125 Hornet runs on tubeless tyres – sized 80/100-17 at the front and 110/80-17 at the rear.
On the tech front, Honda has equipped it with a 4.2-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth pairing and smartphone connectivity, placing it among the more feature-rich options in its class. The CB125 Hornet’s digital interface links with Honda’s RoadSync app, allowing access to turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, etc.

Available in four two-tone paint schemes, the Honda CB 125 Hornet takes on TVS Raider 125, Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R and it could be priced around Rs. 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
