Fierce competition pushes Honda to roll out new offers on most of its models, which are in addition to corporate offers

Just one month into 2026, Honda has introduced savings across its key models in India. The company is offering benefits worth up to nearly 1.5 lakh rupees on these cars. Honda is offering savings of up to 57,000 rupees on the third-generation Amaze, which it sells alongside the second-generation model in our market. The company has not disclosed the details of these benefits, but it says they are in addition to corporate offers.

The latest Amaze is available in V, VX, and ZX trims, in manual and automatic variants, both powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The sub-4 metre sedan’s prices range from 7,47,790 rupees (ex-showroom) to 9,21,590 rupees (ex-showroom) in the manual variant and from 8,62,090 rupees (ex-showroom) to 9,99,900 rupees (ex-showroom) in the automatic variant.

On the fifth-generation City, Honda is giving benefits up to 1,27,700 rupees. In this case, too, the company does not disclose the specifics of the savings and says that they are in addition to corporate offers. The premium sedan is available in SV, V, VX, and ZX grades, all powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Customers get a choice between a manual transmission and a CVT, with the former’s prices falling between 11,95,300 and 14,86,800 rupees (ex-showroom) and the latter’s prices falling between 13,90,200 and 16,07,400 rupees (ex-showroom). Later this year, Honda will roll out a second facelift for the fifth-generation City, following the first one in 2023. This update is expected to be quite subtle, though, with a Honda 0 Saloon-inspired radical sixth-generation City scheduled to replace the car in 2028.

The highest benefits, worth up to 1,48,000 rupees, are available on the Elevate. For this model, too, Honda has not given a breakup of the savings and says they are in addition to corporate offers. Like the fifth-generation City, the Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and available in manual and automatic variants.

Honda Elevate
Honda Elevate ICE

The Elevate is available in SV, V, VX, ZX, Black Edition, and Adventure Edition grades. The prices of the manual variant range from 11,59,890 rupees (ex-showroom) to 15,38,990 rupees (ex-showroom), while the automatic variant costs 13,22,090-16,56,790 rupees (ex-showroom).

With the recently launched all-new Tata Sierra and all-new Kia Seltos, competition in the mid-size SUV segment is heating up. The rivalry is set to further intensify with the arrival of the new Skoda Kushaq, the all-new Renault Duster, the Nissan Tekton, and the new VW Taigun in the next 2-3 months. Honda plans to give the Elevate a facelift in the second half of the year, but it is still unlikely to match the recent and upcoming competitors in terms of performance and features.
