Volkswagen Tiguan R Line gets a flat offer of Rs. 3 lakh, making it the most heavily discounted model for the brand in July 2025
Volkswagen’s discount strategy for July 2025 puts both volume and premium models under the spotlight with benefits being rolled out for the Virtus, Taigun and Tiguan. All offers apply to MY2025 variants and are set to run for a limited time at authorised dealerships this month. At the upper end of the range, the Tiguan R Line, which made its local debut only a few months ago and is brought in as a full import, carries the largest benefits.
Buyers of the sole available variant can expect a flat Rs. 3 lakh reduction, making it the most heavily discounted model in Volkswagen India’s current lineup. The Virtus sedan continues to receive attractive set of benefits too. Those considering the entry-level Comfortline 1.0 TSI MT will find it at a reduced price tag of Rs. 10.54 lakh – courtesy of a Rs. 1 lakh discount.
The top-spec Topline 1.0 TSI AT variant brings in a more generous Rs. 2 lakh worth of benefits while the GT 1.5 TSI DSG Chrome trim holds a discount figure of Rs. 1.05 lakh. The Taigun portfolio, however, sees the most expansive discount deal. The German auto major has cut Rs. 80,000 off the Comfortline 1.0 TSI MT and pushed up to Rs. 2.5 lakh in benefits on the Topline 1.0 TSI MT.

The GT Line 1.0 TSI MT is available with a Rs. 1.3 lakh offer while the automatic Topline 1.0 TSI AT follows closely with benefits at par with its manual counterpart. The larger capacity 1.5 TSI versions are also part of the equation – GT Plus Chrome DSG carries Rs. 2.5 lakh in savings and the GT Plus Sport DSG trim comes with an offer of Rs. 2 lakh.
All discounts, except the Taigun, are dealer level and may vary by stock availability. As Volkswagen looks to consolidate its value proposition across both sedan and SUV segments, the current round of benefits reflect a strategic aimed towards boosting showroom activity ahead of the festive months.
