Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) finished fourth in the overall manufacturers’ sales standings in the month of February 2026 as 52,407 units were sold as against 47,727 units during the same period last year with a YoY positive growth of 9.8 per cent. Compared to the previous month of January 2026, the brand recorded an MoM decline of just over 11 per cent.

The popular midsize SUV registered 17,938 units in February 2026 – up from 16,317 units during the same period last year with a 10 per cent growth. The Creta has consistently remained one of Hyundai’s strongest sellers in India and the addition of the electric variant has helped expand its range further.

The compact SUV space also remained important for Hyundai. The Hyundai Venue recorded 10,494 units last month – slightly higher than 10,125 units sold in February 2025 with a 4 per cent year-on-year growth. While the increase is modest, the Venue continues to maintain steady demand in the highly competitive sub-four-metre SUV space.
