Kia recorded a total of 22,700 unit sales in September 2025 as against 19,608 vehicles with a healthy MoM growth of 15.8 per cent in India
Courtesy of the festive season demand and GST 2.0 price cuts, Kia India finished last month pushing out 22,700 units into the domestic market. Compared to the 19,608 vehicles recorded in August, the numbers indicate a month-on-month rise of 15.8 per cent as the compact and midsize segments have played a key role in garnering good volumes.
From January through September 2025, the Korean brand has accumulated sales of 2,06,582 units. In contrast, the same period in the previous year had seen a total of 1,92,690 units. The tally puts Kia’s year-to-date overview higher by 7.2 per cent. The Sonet compact SUV along with the Seltos midsize SUV remain mainstays in the lineup.
The GST 2.0 tax relaxation has helped vehicles becoming more accessible and combined with festive season demand peaking in September, customer footfall has increased – contributing to the company’s higher wholesales. On the product side, Kia’s established models continue to pump in volumes as the expansion of the Carens range has been a positive affair.
