Bookings for the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition will commence on January 14, 2026 and it gets motorsport-inspired finishes inside and out
Mahindra has added another special edition to the BE 6’s portfolio as the production of the Formula E Edition has been restricted to just 999 units. The company recently revealed its pricing details – placing the FE2 variant at Rs. 23.69 lakh and the more generously equipped FE3 slightly higher on the scale at Rs. 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra has infused this edition with design cues that pay homage to its ongoing Formula E involvement which now stretches through the Gen 4 era. The rollout strategy for this limited series has been arranged across three key dates spread over the next few months. In mid-December 2025, buyers will gain access to an online ‘add to cart’ stage.
It allows them to select their preferred configuration before the full reservation process begins. Mahindra will only open formal bookings a month later on 14 January, 2026 – although the company has yet to declare the token amount or refund policy attached to the process. Deliveries have been promised for 14 February, 2026.

The exterior benefits from a striking livery inspired by the Formula E paddock – complete with FIA references and sporty body graphics across the bonnet, sides and fenders. R20 alloy wheels, a fixed glass roof, signature DRLs and circular LED projector headlamps add visual appeal. With no mechanical changes, the 210 kW electric motor produces 282 bhp and 380 Nm.
Mahindra has paired this with adaptive suspension, boost mode, a variable-ratio steering system and multi-step regenerative braking. Everyday manoeuvrability is enhanced by a 10-metre turning circle while the 79 kWh battery supports 180 kW DC fast charging – enabling a 20 to 80 percent charge in roughly 20 minutes. Inside, the motorsport theme continues subtly with dual 12.3-inch displays running Mahindra’s latest interface, wireless smartphone connectivity, Dolby Atmos audio, integrated OTT apps and Alexa support.

The FE3 version receives additional Formula E-themed animations and new interior touches. A long feature list includes ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, rear vents, a 60:40 split rear bench and a usable frunk equipped with lighting and drainage. Both versions come with Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, a full 360-degree camera setup, all-wheel disc brakes, brake-by-wire, TPMS with live readings, etc.
