Mahindra is all set to expand its ICE and electric portfolios in the coming years and here we have mentioned the ones arriving soon
New product activity is on the horizon as Mahindra prepares new vehicles, facelifts and concept-derived models stretching into 2026 and the following years. Among the long term developments under consideration is a compact SUV inspired by the Vision S concept – expected around 2027 and likely to sit on the brand’s upcoming NU_IQ architecture.
Before it arrives, attention will move to updates within its existing ladder-frame lineup. Both the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic are lined up for mid-cycle revisions with early sightings suggesting minor visual touch-ups. Interior revisions and additional technology are likely – potentially including driver assistance features similar to those already seen in the company’s newer electric offerings.
However, in the Scorpio N, the familiar 2.0-litre mStallion petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engines are set to remain unchanged. Another ICE launch in development is a comprehensively refreshed version of the three-door Thar. Camouflaged prototypes spotted during road testing indicate styling tweaks influenced by the Thar Roxx derivative along with upgraded cabin materials, revised equipment lists and added digital features.

While these updates are in progress, the manufacturer has already been expanding its all-electric portfolio. Recent introductions include two born electric models such as the BE6 Formula E Edition and the three-row XEV 9S alongside light commercial additions such as the Bolero Camper and Bolero Pikup help consolidate volume sales further.
One electric model drawing particular attention is a tougher-looking derivative of the BE 6 – widely rumoured to carry the Rall-E suffix. Expected to ride on the brand’s dedicated INGLO skateboard architecture, it is tipped to share battery and motor hardware with the standard version but feature a more upright stance, larger wheels, increased ground clearance and protective exterior cladding.

The company’s investor briefing also highlighted how its purpose-built electric SUVs have been performing in the market. From the start of customer deliveries in March 2025 through the end of last month, cumulative sales crossed 41,000 units. The recently introduced XUV 7XO – positioned as a more upscale evolution of the XUV700 – has been well received by consumers as well.
